It’s the Tuesday before Thanksgiving so your probably planning your Thanksgiving weekend, right? Meals, family, friends and kids will be home. If your like me, your trying to figure out some fun stuff to do with the kids while we have some time off.
We have these great weather days in Minnesota where we get a little taste of the season that is approaching. This past weekend it was 77 degrees on Saturday afternoon… and I couldn’t help but think about summer. And my summer plans… those trips and events should probably already be planned! I have a couple of things on the calendar but probably need to get some more plugged in.
Still trying to figure out your grad party menu? Here are some ideas that are trending right now!

1) Invest in a daily calendar hopefully your school calendar provided by Fun2Raise!
Calendars have been around forever, but they are really the most genius way to keep it all together. Every paper that comes home from school with a date on it, instantly gets written in the calendar.
What’s for lunch on Thursday? It’s in the calendar. What night is garbage night? Family night? It’s all written down in the calendar, and color-coded by category.
I gave up on resolutions long ago when I discovered the popular trend of choosing one word for the year. I’ve been picking my word of the year for at least the 5 years now, as well as the tradition of creating a vision board each January.

I hope they will cherish these memories the same way I do from my childhood.
Here we are… the countdown is on… we are fast approaching the holidays! Are you ready? Or are you feeling a little frazzled? It’s easy to get caught up in wanting everything to be decorated to the nines and your entire holiday season to go off without a hitch… Ha! If you’re like me… you forgot half of the things on the Target list because… let’s face it you dumped your latte all over the list and everything is a blur, (but it smells good at least)! And speaking of li
It’s hard to believe we’ve recently seen our first snowflakes here in Minnesota. As we all know, winter is right around the corner and with that comes snow, slush, and COLD! But that doesn’t mean we have to stay inside for the next 6 months. Soon the kids will be running out into the winter wonderland with their sleds and snow block builders and only coming in for a cup of hot chocolate and a clothes-drying session.

Hockey season is upon us and talk to any hockey parent and they will tell you that the next few months will be spent rink side, planning their weekends and evenings with games and tournaments, arranging carpools, washing laundry and air freshening everything! My daughter isn’t old enough to play hockey yet but I’m already living and breathing hockey full force! But just a little differently, I’m dreaming of dasher boards, team sponsors and
