Family-friendly New Year’s Eve Events

New Year’s Eve is just around the corner! While its usually easy to find events or things to do for adults around the twin cities, it can be hard to find something fun to do that is family-friendly. That is why we compiled this list of some exciting NYE events that the whole family will enjoy!

Pre-New Year’s Eve Party at Edinborough Park
December 29, 5-8pm (countdown at 7pm)
Cost: $11.50/child
Fun for all ages with dancing, access to the Adventure Peak, and more. Countdown to the New Year at 7pm.

Noon Year’s Party at Como Park Zoo
December 31 & January 1, 10am-1pm
Cost: Free
Entertainment by Kidsdance, crafts, giveaways and a countdown to noon with hundreds of beach balls dropped from the ceiling.

New Year’s Celebration on Ice, Roseville
December 31, 2:30-10pm
Cost: $7, limited skate rental available for additional $5.
Ring in the New Year at the largest skating party in Minnesota. Choose from indoor and outdoor rinks to skate on.

New Year’s Eve in the Wild at
Lebanon Hills Regional Park
December 31, 5-8pm
Cost: $10/person (ages 5 & younger free)
Candlelight hiking, snowshoeing, ice skating and sledding. DJ dance party and storytelling before the ball drops.

Candlelight and Ice at the Wood Lake Nature Center, Richfield
December 31, 5-9pm
Cost: $5/person
Follow hundreds of candle-lit luminaries on a walking trail, roast marshmallows, warm up with hot cocoa, make a craft and more.
