Spring Crafting Fun For Kids!

Spring is here (we hope!) and the planting/flower season is just around the corner! Although we are already thinking about the fall schedule and back to school here at Fun2Raise we’ve got a few fun ideas projects your kids for spring! Mother’s day is just around the corner… maybe make one for grandma too!
 
Pinecone Bird Feed
Smear a pinecone with peanut butter, roll in birdseed and hang with a pipe cleaner! Cheap, easy and kids love to watch the birds.

Bird Nest Helper
Have the kids cut up a bunch of yarn and fabric pieces and fill your suet feeder so the birds have something to add to their spring nests!

Paint Pots
You can buy terra cotta pots for cheap at your hardware store, target or even Ikea. Let your kids paint the pots with craft paint using their thumbprint to create the shape of a flower! Fill with dirt and plants! Don’t forget to water!

Garden Rocks
Paint Rocks for your vegetable garden with the names of the things you planted! At craft stores they have craft paint that is specifically made for the outdoors called craft patio paint. Paint with inspirational sayings, words, the names of the flowers/veggies or plants in your garden and then be sure to seal with a clear outdoor sealer.
