“Space: the final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise. Its continuing mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no one has gone before.”
Well okay, our ventures are not really like that of Star Trek nor are we actual crew members of the Enterprise, but we are taking chances and boldly going places – minus the whole space thing. For the past few months we have been hammering away at our “next big thing.” As the launch date draws closer it is getting a lot harder for us to hold onto our excitement. In just a few weeks we are going to unleash the beast, allowing you to download the Fun2Raise mobile app.
Yes you read that right; you will finally be able to download your very own Fun2Raise mobile app right on your mobile devices. We’ll give you a moment to let that idea sink in. Are you ready? Unless you have been sleeping under a rock these past few months we have been teasing this idea for quite some time, promoting through social media and recently in our school calendars.
The app is projected to be released for the PTO serving Wayzata High School in November. We will gradually work our way into other high schools, colleges and sport organizations. We are proud to say we have the approval from Apple and Google. During the final weeks leading up to the launch we will be doing some final tweaks to the awesome site that families will have access to.
The app will allow parents and their children to check grades, add money to their lunch account, check lunch menus, direct dial the school and go to the school’s website. Instead of fumbling around with multiple pages open in your browser, you can now have access to all your school’s info in one place. To top it off, the app will include exclusive timed deals that you won’t be able to get anywhere else. Imagine having “deals in the palm of your hand,” now that’s golden.
As we close the door of development and open the door to a new a beginning we like to give toast to this voyage we are about to embark on as we “boldly go where no fundraiser has gone before.” Fun2Raise Live!
